We just received a big shipment of OWL Relay Hats (in the 4 and 16 output configurations), so paradar.co.uk is now fully stocked should you wish to buy a pre-assembled version.
Check it out -
(the pick-and-place machine in the factory has a minimum width, so we order the boards in panels so they fit through the machine. Take a look at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Vyn1vUmClU for a video of this in action)
These boards are version v2.5 and v1.1 respectively - they are functionally the same as the previous version, but a discharge resistor has been added across each output to remove the ‘ghost voltages’ observed when outputs are off. Outputs will now measure <10mV when switched off.
The 16-output version is also now a fetching blue colour, and the 4-output version has lower-profile terminals, for better clearance in the enclosure.
As always, design files for the new revisions are available on GitHub, and they can be ordered directly via JLCPCB.
Cheers

This looks great! Something I think it’s missing is documentation about the different jumpers and other configurations the boards take. I had to figure out things, but it’s better to have everything documented somewhere.
Another issue I had was with the green LEDs: in an enclosure where things are tight and close to each other I had issues with the glare from the green LEDs: it would be picked up by the camera and trigger a false positive. Would it be possible to add a jumper to enable/disable the LEDs?
(I had similar issues with the RPi green LED, but that can be disabled).

They’re some really good suggestions as always @pvouzis! I’ll update the repo with the boards and also add more info to the documentation. It’s one of those gaps you end up forgetting about because we use them quite often.
Curious how your setup looks like where the reflections could affect detections? I haven’t experienced that in our long enclosures, the bulkhead seems to stop most light. Not sure how tricky this would be to implement, I’ll leave that to @blinken
